Committed to a belief that, “Everyone Matters, Everyone Deserves Respect, and Everyone Can Make a Difference,” Strategist, Community Organizer, and Human Rights Advocate, Taos Wynn was selected to join the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation (AFRF) as its first Chief Operating Officer and interim, Chief Executive Officer. A Georgia native and the youngest of two sons from a military family, Wynn brings a diverse perspective and proven record of success to the executive leadership team of the organization and the more than 1,200 men and women of the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department. A graduate of Emory University, Wynn holds a legislative, policy and nonprofit background that has elevated communities and causes in service to others. As a change agent, Wynn has participated in international missions trips, spearheaded community initiatives, in addition to founding organizations focused on community outreach and engagement in the City of Atlanta. For his leadership, Wynn has been recognized as a Titan 100 Executive, National Point of Light Award recipient, an Outstanding Georgia Citizen, and received the prestigious City of Atlanta Phoenix Award - among other distinctions. Wynn actively uses his voice to champion the causes he believes in. Whether as an orator or contributor and published writer, he is fervently committed to furthering the betterment of the city of Atlanta, state of Georgia and humanity at large - a passion he now brings to the fire rescue and public safety sector through the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation (AFRF). Taos Wynn proudly resides in Atlanta with his wife and daughter.

Angel is a dedicated professional with a Master's in Public Health from Mercer University and a background from Oakwood University. With extensive experience in program management and public advocacy, Angel plays a crucial role in supporting the President & CEO and advancing the Foundation's mission to enhance community safety and well-being. Her career reflects a deep commitment to community service, public health, and innovative solutions for social change. Angel is passionate about youth development, having actively contributed to various community organizations and programs to empower young professionals and community members. Outside of work, Angel enjoys playing tennis and staying active, showcasing her commitment to health and well-being. Her professional and personal pursuits align with her dedication to fostering positive social impact and community development.

Lila Mensing is a content creator and storyteller by trade. With a passion for helping others, Lila gladly lends her expertise and creativity to the overall marketing and social media efforts of the Foundation including strategic marketing initiatives, social media management and branding. As a content creator, Lila brings both passion and enthusiasm to her work. More recently, Lila moved from Los Angeles where she was in the entertainment industry for 15+ years. In her spare time, Lila enjoys performing, volunteering, and spending time with her dog, Brisket. Lila graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in New York where she studied Film and Art History.

Programs are what drive the organization. They are the platform that AFRF and its sponsors, partners, and supporters rally around to provide funding for youth pathways, workforce initiatives, affordable housing, and essential equipment. As the Programs Coordinator, Lamar lends his perspective and leadership to fulfill the ongoing development, growth, and oversight of these mission-critical campaigns. Most recently, Lamar was a Recruit at the AFRD Training Academy where he earned his Advanced EMT certification and where he gained the knowledge and respect for what it takes to become a City of Atlanta firefighter. His leadership and team building experience comes from years of coaching, mentoring, and motivating others to prioritize goals and reach greatness through discipline and hard work. At Atlanta Public Schools, Lamar coordinated academic success programs as a graduation coach and mentored middle and high school students. Lamar enjoyed a 10-year career as a professional basketball player and point guard on competitive teams in 8 different European countries. Lamar attended Georgia College and Kennesaw State on basketball scholarships. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix. He is most proud of his role as husband to his wife of more than a decade, and father to his two children.

Marisol Deus is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in non-profit fundraising, bringing a deep passion for community engagement and a wealth of knowledge to the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation. She is dedicated to building lasting relationships with donors, and thrives on the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Atlanta's firefighters and the communities they serve. Her enthusiasm for the mission inspires her work, and she is excited to lead the organization's development efforts as we strive to enhance the safety and well-being of our community. Originally from Miami, Florida, Marisol holds a degree in Music Business from the University of Miami. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as continuing to develop her passion for music. In addition to her work at the Foundation, Marisol showcases her musical talents by performing in her own Cabaret show in Midtown Atlanta a few times a year. She believes that every interaction is an opportunity to inspire change, and she looks forward to engaging with supporters who share her vision for a safer, stronger Atlanta.

Frederick Linton carries an immense passion for people and process. With over 17 years of operations and information technology experience, Fred brings demonstrated leadership and expertise to the day to day operations of the Foundation. As the Director of Operations, Fred believes in the importance of efficiency and smart systems, ensuring that teams can achieve their goals with minimal obstacles. His philosophy, "People don't care what you know - until they know that you care," underscores his commitment to supporting his team’s well-being and professional growth. Fred is excited to leverage his technical background, operational strategies for success, and people management skills to drive the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation's mission forward, ensuring its continued growth and success.
