Join us for a morning of inspiration and recognition
Every year the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation hosts a Summer Breakfast event dedicated to recognizing extraordinary members of the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department and significant contributors to the Department and Foundation's success. The Breakfast with Our Bravest event has become the Foundation's largest annual fundraiser bringing together community, civic leaders, and corporate partners to honor awardees.

The 2024 Awards
Firefighter of the Year Award
Firefighter, or Sergeant, with outstanding spirit, service and achievement
Station of the Year Award
Recognize outstanding effort by all shifts at a single fire station and promotes the vision of AFRD
Team Spirit Award
Exemplary achievement by any battalion, section, unit, company or group
Medal of Valor
Act(s) of heroism that places the recipient in a life-threatening situation
Alliance Award
Recognizes ally within department who actively support and encourage the development of women, LGBTQ and Hispanic
Unit Citations Award
Meritorious performance by a company for operations that are difficult and challenging during emergency situations
Civilian Employee of the Year
Outstanding work, spirit and contributions by a non-sworn employee
Citizen Award of Honor
Outstanding act by a private citizen, bravery or service to AFRD
Kaplan Award
Recognizes a significant contribution to the community through the provision of emergency medical services
Company Officer of the Year Award
Lieutenant or Captain with outstanding spirit, service and achievement
Chief Officer of the Year Award
Chief with outstanding spirit, service and achievement

The program begins promptly at 8:00 a.m.

Business professional with something "red" is encouraged but not required!
CHECK-IN, TABLE ASSIGNMENT & TICKETS
Please look for the Check In table outside of Oceans Ballroom. Volunteers will be there to greet you and provide your Table Assignment.

DIRECTIONS
Georgia Aquarium is located in downtown Atlanta across from Centennial Olympic Park. We highly recommend allowing sufficient time for travel to downtown Atlanta. For parking directions, see the information below.
PARKING
If you're driving and planning to park on site, use the following street address for a direct route to Georgia Aquarium parking: 357 Luckie Street, NW, Atlanta, GA 30313.
The official Georgia Aquarium Parking deck is accessible via the entrances on Luckie Street or Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd.
VALIDATED PARKING TICKETS
Please bring your parking ticket to the registration desk when you check in for the event. We will validate the first 400 tickets for complimentary parking.
COVID19 PROTOCOL
Masks are not required but we will have masks and hand sanitizer at our check in desk for your convenience. We respect your personal decision in this matter.
