The Red Means Rescue Campaign
Elevating Awareness, Appreciation, and Support for Atlanta's Bravest
"In Atlanta, Red means Rescue" - a reality shared by residents and corporate partners alike, that understand the value, bravery and heroism embodied by Atlanta firefighters on a daily basis. Every day these brave women and men show up for our community and this is the community's way of showing up for them!
RED MEANS RESCUE is a fun and exciting Atlanta campaign aimed at elevating awareness, appreciation and support for firefighters, paramedics, and EMT’s serving as members of the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department. The campaign is managed by the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation, and powered by local businesses, corporate sponsors, organizations and residents of the city of Atlanta.
The RED MEANS RESCUE campaign aims for a bold and heroic tone in its advertisements. The strategy is through association with the color red, to galvanize and streamline the community’s pre-existing love and appreciation for Atlanta firefighters by reminding residents and community partners of the importance and opportunity to never forget the heroism and bravery that warrants their support.
