Programs

Enhancing the personal and professional lives of Atlanta firefighters

All programs of the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation's Impact Portfolio share a common goal of increasing the recruitment and retention rates of the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department.

The Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation recognizes that to have a thriving city, we must support neighborhoods and communities through funding for workforce development and community initiatives, continuing education, and improvements at fire and EMS stations. â€‹

To this end, our organization is dedicated to providing support across five key impact areas that focus on strengthening the growing fire and emergency response ecosystem of Atlanta: (1) Education, (2) Housing, (3) Technology and Equipment, (4) Quality of Life and Wellness, and (5) Community Connection:

Each of these programmatic efforts is empowered by the generous support of our community members and stakeholders. It is their commitment that enables the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation to ensure that firefighters remain at the cutting edge of excellence and have the resources they need to perform their vital roles.

It gives teens purpose, direction, and a deep sense of responsibility.”
